I hope everyone took some time to get some rest this weekend. We are now in the home stretch of our competitive season, so let’s get ready to put in some good work this week and finish this season strong!
Monday 10/16 – Sectionals (at discretion of student leadership) 2:30-4:00
Tuesday 10/17 – Rehearsal 5:00-7:30
Wednesday 10/18 – Rehearsal 2:30-5:00
Thursday 10/19 – Rehearsal 5:00-7:30
Friday 10/20 – Rehearsal 5:00-7:30
Saturday 10/21 – VBODA Marching Band Assessment @ Patriot High School
- 7:30 – Students report and begin setting up for rehearsal
- 9:00 – Rehearsal ends, begin loading equipment trailer
- 9:15 – Students dress into uniforms
- 9:40 – Uniform Inspection, load buses, and roll call
- 10:00 – Bus departs FPHS for PHS
- 10:35 – Arrive at Patriot High School
- 11:05 – Warm Up
- 12:05 – On Deck
- 12:15 – “Nightmares and Daydreams”
- 12:30 – Return to buses and truck to load equipment
- 12:50 – Return to the stadium to watch other groups and wait for rating announcement
- 1:40 – Ratings announced
- 2:00 – Return to buses and depart for FPHS
- 2:30 – Arrive at FPHS – Students unload buses and truck, clean the band room, and are dismissed
