The Bruin Bands proudly represent Forest Park High School and are the center of the school’s band curriculum. Those participating in the Bruin Bands grow as musicians, students, and citizens.
The Forest Park Bruin Band program offers a wide variety of curricular and extracurricular performing groups. These groups include Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Percussion Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, the Marching Bruin Band, the Bruin Big Band, the Forest Park Winter Guard, and Symphony Orchestra.
The Bruin Band Boosters are our parent support group, and help the band director provide quality experiences to all band students at Forest Park High School. Their presence is a constant at all band performances including concerts, festivals, football games, competitions, parades, and other community performances.
The Forest Park High School Bruin Band Boosters is an independent organization which has obtained the approval of PWCS to support its schools, students, teams, programs, and extracurricular activities. All funds raised by the Forest Park High School Bruin Band Boosters will be used for approved school purposes.
Forest Park High School Bands is a fourteen-time Virginia Honor Band program.
