With our competitive season coming to a close, you may find yourself still craving that high level of marching performance energy. As we head into the winter months, the marching arts head indoors and become indoor color guard (more info on the FPHS Winter Guard coming soon!), indoor drumline (more info on the combined drumline at Woodbridge High School coming soon!), and indoor winds.
Indoor Winds is a truly unique performance experience that takes the energy and excitement of a marching band field show and puts it in a gymnasium. We are very fortunate to have one of these winds ensembles not too far from us! Empyrean Winds is an indoor winds ensemble based in the Richmond area and they are looking for motivated individuals to join their cast for their 2023 season.
Empyrean will be hosting a FREE audition clinic on October 30th at Rock Ridge High School. Registration opens at 9:00 am and the clinic will run from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm. If you think you may even be a little interested, head over to their website and register for their FREE audition on the 30th.
