Marching Bruin Band Dues & Payment COVID-19 Payment Plan The Bruin Band Boosters are extending the option of creating an individualized payment plan, especially in light of the financially stressful times of this pandemic. All dues and expenses collected will be held in earnest and in the event that the marching season is altered or cancelled, we will be distributing refunds. Fulfillment of your band dues commitment is an integral part of the BBB’s budget planning process and finding a mutually acceptable means benefits all parties concerned. PLEASE NOTE: The spread of COVID-19 has greatly impacted 2020 Fall extracurricular activities and there are multiple scenarios with varying levels of student participation that could occur moving forward. All of the information and scheduling is tentative and subject to change . It is extremely important that you and your student stay in contact with the appropriate updates. No matter the outcome of the Fall, the Bruin Band Leadership, Boosters and Staff are extremely passionate about making our 2020 marching season the most engaging and inspiring to date. Other Possible Fees for Marching Band Students (These anticipated expenses are provided for family budget planning purposes only. Payment instructions will follow at a later time.) $38 – $50 for replacement marching shoes (sometimes shoes are worn out, broken, or lost during the season) $3 – $5 for replacement socks or gloves $130 – $150 for color guard items such as shoes, tights, earrings, make-up and warm-up suit (cost varies depending on which items particular individuals need) Meals – Due to the distance of some competitions we attend, it is necessary for students to eat while we are gone. MBB members typically have the option of purchasing food at competitions or bringing a meal from home as well.
